Constructing a TV lift cabinet is really simple. Develop your plan based on the following steps.

Attach the linear actuator in the bottom of the cabinet with the mechanism hardware.
Next mount the movable end of the actuator with bracket to a mounting board that is smaller than the width of your TV.
Attach the guide rails from the installation kit to the cabinet with two upright 2x4 boards.Attach the mounting board ends to the guide rails of the mechanism as specified in the installation instructions.
Mount the TV bracket to the mounting board and the TV. You will now see that the mounting board provides a good deal more stability than just the metal bracket for the TV mount.
Install the remote control and harness to the linear actuator according to the manufacturer's instructions.
The next item to install is the power supply. If you are uneasy about this portion of it, locate a friend who is more than casually adept at using wiring schematics and secure his services. This may require a few dollars on your part or a tempting dish from your wife's pastry kitchen.
You are now approaching the end of your work in the shop. Carefully test the device by raising and lowering it a few times to see that all the wiring clears the mechanism, and that your are satisfied with all the functions that your TV lift cabinet is capable of performing.
Once satisfied with all your testing, you and your friend carefully move the new piece of furniture into its new resting place in the house.
